My thoughts:

Amsterdam absolutely exceeded my expectations! I knew it was going to be charming but wow, seeing the city in person is extremely special and magical. The dutch houses, bikers everywhere, yummy food, and all the history. I already want to go back!

Favorite memory:

Walking around the city, without an agenda, just taking it all in! Amsterdam is truly one of the most charming cities I have ever been too. There’s always something to discover down a side street or a cute vintage store to check out.

Also, seeing the Anne Frank house. I still get chills to this day when I think about it. A must see while in Amsterdam.

Favorite food:

This is a tough one because we had so much incredible food in Amsterdam BUT the apple pie at Winkel 43 (pictured in this post) is truly the best apple pie I have ever had! Plus they top it off with homemade whip cream (ugh so good). It’s almost more of a cake than pie but let me tell you, I dream of this pie and now wish I would have gone back for another slice on our last day haha! SO if you are ever in Amsterdam, do yourself a favor and go to Winkel’s!

My second favorite is the pommes frites with mayonaise & satay from Vlaams Friteshuis Vleminck. Life changing my friends!
